This dramatic necklace combines many of the classic components of Yemeni artistry, but it has probably been restrung from original pieces. The large circular pendant is an obvious addition, crudely attached. However the piece reflects the aesthetic taste of the assembler, probably one of the Bedouin women vendors in the Riyadh souk.
